Likkle mix of some 45's I picked up late last year while on tour in Ethiopia. I open with some deep Anchehoye (1 of the Ethiopian modes) business, some obscure Mulatu tracks, next I hand it over to the ladies, Aster, Hirut, Bezunesh, couple tunes from Tigre, then Mahmoud, Menelik, and Tilahun before finishing with 1 dubbed out beauty from Alemayehu Eshete.

As you listen imagine the sweet aromas of freshly roasted beans, goats & donkeys, stunning female beauties (you just don't understand!), the green highlands...and you will almost be there... Enjoy!

I start this selection with a few Ethiopian 7's that get me good! A bit of snap crackle in there from years of lovin', followed by some weighty Reggae 12's ina roots & culture style. Bless up!
